The director wanted to really showcase the more morbid aspects of the show leaning into the dark themes. The goal with this design was to amplify the darker aspects of the show and really bring the supernatural elements to the forefront. I used darker reds to really emphasize the blood element and how much Audrey craves it. I also used lower intensities and lots of shadows to help emphasize the things that lurk where you can't see.
